Who We Are |
The Take a Stand Club is a group of students that are recognized in the building as people you can go to for help if you are struggling with school, peers, home, or something else that you would like to talk to someone about. They meet every other Tuesday from 3:00-4:00 in Room 111C. All students are able to access help from the group.

Our History |
The Take a Stand Club was founded in 2014 by 7th grade Lombard student Katie Dunbar. Katie sought permission from administration, secured faculty sponsors, obtained start up funding from our Booster Club, and created the framework for the 2014/2015 school year as well as creating a vision for the future of the club. In January of 2015, Katie was honored by the mayor and received the City of Galesburg Youth Extra Effort Award for her efforts to make the community a better place. Her name is engraved on a plaque at city hall.
