October 5th- Blue Out- wear blue to support anti-bullying October 6th- Band Against Bullying Day- 6th Grade Give Away October 7th- Go Global- How many states, countries, & continents can we reach in a week? October 8th- Poster Challenge Day (Posters due by dismissal) October 9th- LOMBARD ACT OF KINDNESS DAY- Contest winners will be announced for the Advisory Challenge, Adult Challenge, Student Challenge and Poster Contest. |
Poster ChallengeStudents are invited to create an original anti-bullying poster for Lombard. Our theme this year is "Stomp Out Bullying." Posters are due by 11:30 PM dismissal on October 8th to be considered for judging. The contest winner will win an anti-bullying sweatshirt ordered in their size. TAS Club reserves the right to issue additional prizes if there is a tie in the vote.

Adult ChallengeAttention Parents, Staff, Adult Family Members- this challenge is for you! Which adult can perform the most random acts of kindness in Lombard's name during the week of October 5th-9th. In order to participate you must purchase LAK cards for $1.00 each from a TAS member or Ms. Keith (all proceeds support the TAK club). Each ticket counts twice- once for the adult challenge and once for the advisory class of your choosing. The adult challenge winner will win an anti-bullying sweatshirt ordered in their size. Go Global- Adults may also choose to go global by having a person in another part of the country or world perform a random act of kindness in Lombard's name. If you want to Go Global please let us know when you purchase your ticket, e-mail [email protected] with your location or tweet it out at #LAKGoGlobal so we can keep our map up to date. Go Global for adults also counts twice- once for the adult challenge and once for the advisory class of your choosing.

Advisory Challenge Attention students- this challenge is for you! The advisory class that performs the most Lombard Acts of Kindness during the week of October 5th-9th will receive a special treat. Advisories are encouraged to plan ahead. Totals will be kept by the individual advisory teachers and turned in the morning of October 11th. Advisories may challenge each other or keep it a complete surprise until the very end so no one knows how well you are doing. It's completely up to you. The student who performs the most acts of kindness this week will also win an anti-bullying sweatshirt ordered in their size. Go Global- Students may also choose to go global by having a person in another part of the country or world perform a random act of kindness in Lombard's name.
